As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at KadamTech, you will own production web platforms from database schema to pixel-perfect interface. Our day-to-day stack centres on Laravel and PHP on the backend, paired with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue, React, and Livewire on the front. You will architect features, model data, design APIs, and ship the kind of code that runs reliably for clients across e-commerce, SaaS, and internal tooling.
The work is genuinely varied. One sprint you might be optimising a slow reporting query and untangling N+1 problems; the next you could be standing up a new multi-tenant module, integrating a third-party payment or logistics API, or hardening an authentication flow. We work in small, autonomous squads where engineers talk directly to clients and product, so you will have real ownership over scope and technical direction rather than just picking up tickets.
This role is exciting because you will set the engineering bar for the team. You will introduce patterns, mentor mid-level engineers, and influence how we test, deploy, and observe our systems. What you'll do
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features end to end, from data model to UI
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with meaningful unit and feature test coverage
- Design and document RESTful and JSON APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
- Review pull requests thoughtfully and mentor mid-level and junior engineers
- Profile and optimise application and database performance, eliminating slow queries and bottlenecks
- Collaborate closely with designers and product to scope work and propose pragmatic technical solutions
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and production observability
What we're looking for
- 5+ years professionally building and shipping web applications
- Deep PHP and Laravel expertise, including Eloquent, queues, and the testing toolchain
- Strong modern JavaScript skills with a framework such as Vue, React, or Livewire
- Solid command of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), schema design, and query optimisation
- Experience designing and integrating APIs and third-party services
- Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable working directly with clients and teammates
- Nice to have: exposure to Docker, AWS, Redis, and CI/CD tooling
